Maziya keeps pressure on TC Sports by defeating Nilandhoo 6-1 in last night's Premier League match.

Asadullah Abdulla (Asako) tapped in a low cross into the goal area to open the scoring for Maziya two minutes before halftime. First half stoppage time saw Asako head the ball for Maziya playmaker Ismail Easa(Messi). Messi darted past the Nilandhoo defense before placing to double the lead for Maziya.

A minute into the second half Asako scored his second. Two minute later Amdhan Ali (Andy) headed in fourth goal from a free kick. On the hour mark Hassan Naiz(Dhaadhu) played a wall pass, beat three players and blasted the ball from wide to make it 5-0 for Maziya. Excellent individual effort by Dhaadhu.

Adoko Kweku Lucas capitalized on a mistake by Andy to score Nilandhoo's first goal of the game. Asako completed his hattrick tapping in Ahmed Imaz's (Aakko) low cross deep into stoppage time.

The win takes Maziya back into the second place with only two points behind the league leaders TC Sports. TC will play against Foakaidhoo FC tonight. This evening Victory will play against New Radiant.
