Nilandhoo Thrashed by In-Form Eagles

The in-form Club Eagles thrashes Nilandhoo in the Dhivehi Premier League match tonight. In the game played tonight Eagles beat Nilandhoo by 8-0. Both Mohamed Naim and League top scorer Ahmed Rizvan(Rizey) scored hattricks as Eagles ripped Nilandhoo apart.

Hussain Sifau the Maldives International gave Eagles the lead in the 23rd minute. Mohamed Naim then opened his account in the 40th minute to start a brace of goals against the Minivan Championship semi-finalists. Komilov Abdurasul headed in Eagles 3rd three minutes later. Naim doubled his couple of minutes later to end the half 4-0 for Eagles.

 Eagles did not slow down despite the 4-0 lead from first half as Premier League top scorer Ahmed Rizvan score three goals before Naim also scored to complete his hattrick. 

Talking to the press after the game Nilandhoo coach, Adam Abdul Latheef(Lacchey) said they will do their best and that it is still difficult to compete with the big clubs. Eagles coach Mohamed Shiyaz(Mohan) mentioned that he expected Rizey to have been included in the SAFF Championship winning team. Mohan also said that his current form warrants a place in the national team.

Eagles are in second place behind the league leaders TC who play Victory Sports tomorrow evening. Foakaidhoo will meet New Radiant tomorrow night.
