Andy is back in the game after his knee injury.

Amdhan ali (Andy) the most reliable defender at the Maziya Sports & Recreation has returned into the game after sitting out for several months due his injury. Andy, who has played in the Maldives national football team is back in the field after a serous injury in his knee, during the last November in Dhivehi premier league.

His leg injured through the last match of Maziya in last season Premier League against New Radiant Sports Club. His treatments were done in Maldives under the famous orthopedic surgeon Dr Shakeel.

Though Andy being doing rehabilitation under a close look of his coach, Coach Ismail Mahfooz (Imma) began playing normally with Maziya sports and recreation club during the national team break. During the time, Andy was used by Coach Imma in the warm up friendly matches to monitor how he performs after a return from serious injury.

"I am playing normally now, I have being training with the team regularly and I want to be back in the team but it is up to Coach to decide when to bring me in to the game" Andy stated in a recent press.

He also commented that he was very much willing to play for national side during the recent huge victory of SAFF Championship, but his injury kept him out from the call up to the national side.

Andy’s biggest thrive in his football career was the youth championship in 2011. He was also in the final squad of AFC challenge cup 2014.

Andy is not the only player who has had a major orthopedic surgery in Maldives lately. Maldives and Maziya Sports star Asadulla Abdulla also recovered fully and has even been instated in the National Team that won the  SAFF Suzuki Cup.
