Club Eagles stops the high flying Green Streets by beating 1-0. Eagles inflicted Green Streets' first defeat of the Dhivehi Premier League. After having drawn Foakaidhoo on the opening day of the season, Green Streets has been in excellent form this season.

Samdhooh Mohamed was unfortunate to score into his own net to give Eagles the lead in the 8th minute. The win takes Eagles to the top ahead of Maziya who remains in the fifth spot.

Eagles next game will be against bottom club Thimarafushi on the 2nd of October at 16:00 hours. Green Streets will play against Maziya on the 3rd at 16:00 hours.
