Basic coaching course held at B. Eydhafushi.

Football Association of Maldives conducts Grassroots course in B. Eydhafushi. A week long course started on the 10th and ended on the 16th of August. At the end of the course a one day festival is held, where the 18 coach educators tested their coaching skills. The participants are now qualified as 'Coach Educators'. The course was conducted for 18 coaches by the instructor Ahmed Shareef (Dunga). Dunga is a certified FIFA Grassroots Instructor. He also is qualified to conduct the AFC-C Certificate course.

Last month FAM held the Grassroots course in Dh. Meedhoo. 

Grassroots course teaches the basics of football. It also teaches the coach educators to conduct mini-festivals and designing their own coaching sessions
