TC Academy dominates the “Fun Football Fiesta”

TC Academy dominates both the categories in the FAM- Fun Football Fiesta this evening. In the grade 5 division, BG Sports lost to TC. TC also beat Early Touch Football Academy (ETFA) in the grade 4 category final. Besides TC, BG and ETFA other teams that participated were Maziya and Eagles academies. 

All the teams played each other and two best teams played a final match. It was an overall positive festival, where the main aim was to promote football.

Football Association of Maldives' Fun Football Fiesta was organized by BG Academy this year. This will be an annual event organized by the Association to promote youth football. The Football Association of Maldives has also introduced the under-13 youth league, which has been a huge success for young players as well as youth coaches.

The Association has been promoting Academies last few years with the introduction of Club academies in 2015. Early Touch Football Academy has been the longest serving Academy in Maldives. ETFA was founded and run by the Legendary coach Heena Ahmed Saleem fondly known as Bodu Heena.
