TC Sports Club has comfortably beaten Nilandhoo by 4-0 in tonight's match of Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League 2018.

TC had started dominating the game from the start and scored their first goal in the fifth minute. Ishan Ibrahim (Sattu) scored the opener which was followed by Ali Ashfaq's goal in the 7th minute. Ibrahim Waheed (Ibbe) incresed TC's lead to 3-0 in the 15th minute.

Nilandhoo improved their defence after the third goal and had blocked TC's frontline from scoring for about half an hour. TC having pushed forward had to deal with Nilandhoo's counters which were declined by TC's defence line and goal keeper. TC struck again within the final minutes of the first half. Ashfaq scored a freekick just outside the area box which was his second of the night.

Nilandhoo had pushed forward during the second half and started creating chances up front. TC's defence held firm and scored their fifth goal in the 58th minute. Ibbe scored his second of the night after a mistake by Nilandhoo's goal keeper. TC increased their lead in the 75th minute which was scored by Ibrahim Mahudhy (Feydhoo Ibbe). Nilandhoo's only goal was an own goal by Azzan after a miscommunication between TC's defence line and goal keeper.

TC and New Radiant now have 3 points while the defending champions are at the top by goal difference. Maziya and Eagles each have 1 point after their late draw today evening.
