Foakaidhoo FC has added goal keeper Ahmed Fairooz to their squad for the Premier League 2018.

Fairoo appeared for Club Green Streets last season as their second goal keeper. He was given the opportunity by Mohamed Sobah in some matches of Premier League and FA Cup 2018 which he performed brilliantly. He had previously played for VB and New Radiant Sports Club in previous years.

Foakaidhoo has signed a few experienced players in preparation for the Premier League. They had recently brought Pakistan national goal keeper Saqib Hanif, Mahmoud Sayed who played for Club Eagles , Mahmoud Mostafa who played for Maalhos in the Minivan Championship and Khalil Gamal who played for TC Sports Club last year. Some local talents has also joined to strengthen the team. Ahmed Usaam (Kalhoo), Ahmed Mohamed (Ammadey) and Mohamed Jailam are some players to join the team for the upcoming tournament.
