Nilandhoo beats Thimarafushi and Foakaidhoo wins over Fenfushi in the opening matches of the Minivan Championship Final round.

Nilandhoo and Thimarafushi competed from group 1 of the final round and Nilandhoo came back from behind to earn themselves an important 3 points with the score of 2-1. The first goal of the match was scored by Thimarafushi in the 54^th minute by Ahmed Thohir. The goal was cancelled out in the 80^th minute by Nilandhoo with a penalty scored by Azhan Khaleel, who also scored the second goal in the final minutes of the second half to ensure three points for the home team.

In the opening match of group 2, Foakadhoo beats Fenfushi at home by 1-0 to grab their first win in the final round of Minivan Championship. Mohamed Nadheem scored the goal for the home team in the 14^th minute which ensured 3 points for them.
