AFC C LICENSE COURSE STARTED IN DHIHDHOO

The Football Association of Maldives has recently started an AFC C License Certificate course in Haa Alif Dhihdhoo.

The AFC C License certificate is known as “level two Certificate” in Europe, which focuses at training coaches and developing their basic techniques and skills in football. It is designed to teach the coaches to organize, direct and conduct basic coaching practices targeting especially young players.

FAM started the AFC C license course in Dhihdhoo with the main aim of developing football in atolls by training coaches in different regions of Maldives. The course is held from 15 to 27 April 2018 with 16 participants and is educated by the head of coach education, Mohamed Shazly. Shazly is one of the qualified coaches in Maldives who has a pro-license in coaching.

FAM has conducted AFC A license and B license courses earlier this year to improve coaches. More coaching courses are yet to be held this year as FAM’s aim is to improve coaches to develop football in Maldives.
