Victory come from behind to beat Valencia

Victory sports Club came from behind to beat Club Valencia 2-1.

Victory came into the game without Mohamed Sabig who suspended and Simon Tibor Csordas started game from bench.

The first chance of the game fell for Victroy winger Nashid but his shot from out wide was blocked away for a corner. From the corner that followed Pedro found himself free on the far post however he was unable to head his shot on target.

In the 26th minute Valencia had a good opportunity. Sergii Dryga went past two Victroy defenders and cut back a pass for Ansar who's shot had no power and was easily collected by Victory custodian Imran.

Club Valencia drew first blood in the game in the 33rd minute. Ansar's through ball found Sergii Dryga who escaped the Victory offside trap and rounded up past on rushing Victory goalie Imran before firing into the back of a empty net. Minutes before the goal Victory had to substitute their captain and first choice center back Shafiu Ahemd due to an injury.

Despite going a goal down Victory played the better football and in the 40th minute Ahmed Rasheed was taken down by Valencia goalie Jun but the match official to everyone's surprise pointed for a goal kick.

Simon Tibor who came in as a substitute scored for Victory in the 61st minute to make it all square. Simon held off a Valencia defender before firing home through Valencia goalie Jun's legs.

In the 71st minute Valencia defender Mohamed Nizam took down Angel Munoz inside the box therefore the referee pointed to the spot. Pedro Henrique stepped up to take the penalty and converted to give Victory the lead as the reds made a comeback from a goal down to make it 2-1.
