Draws of the final round of the biggest tournament organized to the atolls of Maldives, STO Minivan Championship 2018 has been confirmed.

A total of 10 teams have been drawn to two groups of the final round of Minivan Championship. The final round consists of 8 zone champions and the teams that competed in the premier league last year. Thinadhoo and Milandhoo did not participate in this year’s tournament, so Kudahuvadhoo and Maalhos will be competing in the final round. Matches of the final round are set to be played at Shaviyani Foakaidhoo and Faafu Nilandhoo.

Group 1 of the Minivan Championship final round includes Haa Alif Muraidhoo, Shaviyani Foakaidhoo, Baa Fehendhoo, Alif Dhaalu Fenfushi and Alif Alif Maalhos. The matches of this round are scheduled to be played at Shaviyani Foakaidhoo. Group 2 includes Faafu Nilandhoo, Thaa Thimarafushi, Gaafu Dhaalu Hoadehdhoo, Seenu Hithadhoo and Dhaalu Kudahuvadhoo. Group two matches are scheduled to be played at Faafu Nilandhoo.

Both groups include 5 teams each and as per FAM’s rules, matches will be played as a league allowing the top two teams from each group to advance to the semi-final.

The final round of Minivan Championship 2018 is scheduled to kick-off on 21^st April 2018. Nilandhoo will play against Thimarafushi from group 1 while Foakaidhoo will play against Fenfushi in the opening matches of the final rounds.
