In the ongoing Football of Maldives, second division football tournament, in the third match of this year’s version, Da Grande Amigos New Generation Sports Club has managed to get a narrow win over Club Zefrol.

The only goal was scored by J.No # 21 of Da G.A.N.G SC. A well placed cross from the right side, which came from a good build up through the left midfield, found the J.no#21 standing all alone in the box and he brilliantly placed the ball in to the bottom left side corner leaving Zefrol goalie, former national team andClub Valencia goalkeeper Mohamed Athif (Aathi) action less.

Last year’s second division champion Club Zefrol was promoted to Male League 2018 Qualification. But due to financial and other reasons Zefrol decided not to take part in the ML qualification and there for the bottom four teams were automatically qualified for Male League 2018. Club Zefrol will be led by former Maldives senior men national team’s assistant coach, Coach Assadh Abdul Ghani.

And on the other hand, Da Grande Amigos New Generation (Da G.A.N.G) will be featuring under coach Mohamed Fareed,
