Himmafushi has been named as champions of Kaafu atoll after they made a comeback to beat Gulhi in the Kaafu atoll final.

The match was played at Maafannu turf Stadium 1 where Himmafushi won the match by 2-1. All three goals were scored during the first half which decided the match in favour of Himmafushi team. Mohamed Zareef broke the deadlock and gave the lead for Gulhi in the 17^th minute. Ahmed Jailam of Himmafushi scored in the 36^th minute to give a hope for the Himmafushi team. Match and title winning goal was scored by Ibrahim Haleem with just five minutes before half time. The second half ended with the same score which resulted that Himmafushi will advance to the zone round.

Three team participated from Kaafu atoll; Himmafushi, Maafushi and Gulhi. Kaafu atoll tournament was played as a league allowing the top two teams to play in the final. Himmafushi team has now advanced to the zone round where they will have to compete in Zone 4 to advance to the final rounds.
