Muli FT conquers Meemu atoll after a hard fought battle against Veyvah in the Minivan Championship.

Four teams from Meemu atoll participated in the Minivan Championship this year; Muli, Mulak, Veyvah and Maduvvari. Two teams with the most points from the atoll were Muli and Veyvah, both with 4 points. After regular time of the final match, both teams had only scored 1 goal each denying each other on many occasions to net the winner. The winner was decided on penalties as Muli won 5-4.

Muli FT advances to the zone round where they will battle V.Fulidhoo, F.Nilandhoo and the champions of Dhaalu atoll. Fulidhoo had advanced to the zone round since there were no other teams from Vaavu atoll that participated this year and Nilandhoo beat Magoodhoo to be crowned as champions of Faafu atoll.
