Naifaru Juvenile has grabbed a spot from the zone round as they beat Hinnavaru FC by an aggregate of 3-1 in the Minivan Championship.

With only two teams participating from Lhaviyani atoll, two matches of home and away were played as per the rule of the tournament. Naifaru won the first match easily at home by 3-0 giving Hinnavaru a lot of pressure for the second leg. The second match played at Hinnavaru was won by the home team by 1-0, but Naifaru were crowned as champions with the additional two goals they netted at home.

Naifaru has now advanced to the zone round where they will face the champions of Raa atoll and Fehendhoo, who were recently named as champions of Baa atoll.
