BG Sports Club has been preparing at top speed for the 2^nd Division glory with Ilham Muaviyath (Ille) as head coach.

Ille was the mastermind behind the success of Maalhos as they conquered the atoll round and zone round last year in the Minivan Championship. He is amongst the coaches that completed AFC A license recently. Maalhos was a semi-finalist at Minivan Championship and amongst the teams that were promoted to the premier league last year.

BG Sports Club is one of the clubs that has had the experience at the top tier. They were relegated to second division in 2016 after a hard fight with Victory SC. Last year, they competed at second division under coach Ismail Anil but were unable to reach the target.

Second division tournament will be an eye catching battle this year as almost all the teams have begun their preparation with full strength. With so many tough teams to beat, the question rising is; can Ille coach take BG Sports Club to the top tier once again?
