LAREY APPOINTED AS F.NILANDHOO’S HEAD COACH

Former national team player, Lirgaam Saeed (Larey) has been appointed as the head coach of F.Nilandhoo for the Minivan Championship this year.

Larey, known as the first Maldivian player to score in the SAFF Championship is a former Victory SC player who achieved huge success with the club. He has won the President’s Cup in four seasons with Victory. He has also won two silver medals in SAFF Championship playing for the national team. Larey is a coach who has an AFC B licence and has worked with bid clubs like Victory SC after he stopped playing.

Speaking to media, the Vice President Nilandhoo’s council stated that after appointing Larey as head coach, preparations for the Minivan Championship has been going very well and they have targeted to win the atoll round at first. He also stated that they are willing to fight if they proceed to the zone round and will try to advance as much as possible.

Only two teams from Faafu Atoll have participated in the Minivan Championship this year; Nialndhoo and Magoodhoo.
