Victory SC has signed back promising defender Ali Shamis for the upcoming season. He was a player who played for Victory SC in the STO Male League last season and gave in some promising performance in the league. He transferred to Club Green Streets when Victory SC failed to make it to the Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

With the signature of Shamis Victory SC has signed a total of 15 players for the new season. They started practice last week with the newly appointed coach Kiss. Victory SC also has been conducting trials during the practice to further recruit more players for the season.

The football season which opening which was scheduled for last week has been delayed due to the State of Emergency declared and no new date has been finalized for the season opening match.
