Football Association of Maldives has announced the interschool football championships dates for this year.

Sending the notice to all the schools and colleges, which states, “same as previous years, FA will be holding the inter-school football tournaments. This year’s inter school football tournament will be held for Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18s”.

As in FA Maldives announcement, this year’s first inter-school tournament will be held for under 14 age group from 20^th February to 12^th March.

And then, the tournament for under 19 boys, from 15^th March to 31^st March. And the last tournament will be held for the remaining age group, under 16, from 1^st April to 30^th April.

In addition to tournament days, FA’s notice also shares the dead line dates for the team list submission to the FA for the respective age groups and their tournaments.

Dead line dates for team list submission:

Under 14 – before 1600 hrs of 11^th February

Under 18 – before 1600 hrs of 4^th March

Under 16 – before 1600 hrs of 20^th March

FA Maldives says that participating schools and colleges in the respective age group tournaments, must submit their “Participation Form” before 15:30 hrs of   4^th February.

Last years’ interschool was held under the proud sponsor of MILO, one of the huge contributors to local sports events. The last inter-school football tournament went very competitively as Ahmadhiyya International School was crowned the champions of under 14 age group, Majeedhiya School as the under 16 Champions and Villa International High School as the under 19 age group.
