EAGLES SIGN PLAYERS FROM THEIR YOUTH TEAM

Club Eagles has renewed many contracts with players and has gathered players from different clubs for the upcoming season. They have also added promising youngsters from the youth champion team of last year, to this year’s squad.

Haisham Hassan of Eydhafushi, is one of the players to sign for the club. Haisham displayed an outstanding performance in the defence of Eagles youth team in Youth Championship 2017, which helped the team to lift the trophy for a third time. He was also in the U19 national squad that played against Addu U19 team and in the U19 AFC Championship Qualifying matches last year.

Young energetic midfielder, Musannif Mohamed is another outstanding youngster to join the club. Musannif made his debut for the club last year in the FA Cup where he scored his first goal for the club against New Radiant. He made his name in the inter-school championship and has been a regular in the U19 national team. He also played a vital role in the midfield of youth team which won the championship last year.

Ali Shamaal (Shammu) has extended his stay at the club. Shammu signed the club in 2016 and has been a part of the team’s senior team ever since. He made his debut against Maziya in the DPL 2016 and has been appeared in a number of matches in 2017. He has won the Presidents Cup and Youth championship twice since joining the team. He has also played for the U19 national team and was among the players to captain the young side.

Throughout the years, Club Eagles has been recognized as a team to give opportunities for youngsters more than other clubs. As a result, a lot of players from the youth team are regulars of their senior team. It is a great opportunity for these youngsters to improve and shine their qualities under the guidance of the club’s coaches.
