The Football Association of Maldives has recently announced a futsal coaching course for the first time in Maldives.

FAM has scheduled an AFC Futsal Coaching Level 1 Certificate course to start from 24^th February to 1^st March. The association has also stated that the course is open for both men and women who are interested, with a course fee of 2500 Rufiyaa and the last day to submit the form is 23^rd January 2018.

One of FAM’s main objectives is to develop Maldivian futsal and as such, they conducted a tournament last year. FAM has also gathered a National team to represent the country and believes that this course will aid to nurture more players through the graduating coaches and will help develop football and futsal in Maldives.
