Ivory Coast Legend Didier Drogba will be the special guest at Siyam-Mauroof Cup final of 2017.

Miladhoo who defeated the two time champions Holhudhoo will meet Landhoo in the final match in Maalhendhoo Football grounds on 17th December. Drogba will be the special guest on this illustrious occasion. Siyam-Mauroof cup is arguably one of the best organized Football tournaments in the Maldives. Last year Carles Puyol was the special guest. This time around Drogba will witness one of the grandest sports events in Noon Atoll football.

Drogba best known as Chelsea strong man is Ivory Coasts all time greatest goal scorer. He is also Chelsea's 4th all time highest goal scorer. The Phoenix Rising star has also been named the African player of the year on two occasions.
