GREEN EXTENDS THEIR LEAD AT 4th PLACE

This evening Green Street played most of the match with 10 players again Kudahuvadhoo in Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League yet manages to win the match and extend their lead in 4th place with 4 points. The full time score of the match was 1 - 0 in favor of Green.

This is the first win for Green in the second round of the league and also an important win to hold on to top 4 of the league. Green is in 4th place with 16 points while Thinadhoo is in 5th place with 12 points. If Thinadhoo beats New Radiant tonight, they will get 15 points from 11 matches.

It was Green Streets dominating the game and had no burden until Ahmed Hassan was sent out with a red card. This was because he attacked Irufan of Kudahuvadhoo because of a tackle Irufan had on Ahmed Hassan's leg. Kudahuvadhoo took advantage of this and took control of the rest of the game.

The second half was also played well by Kudahuvadhoo against the 10 men of Green on the pitch. But as the match started to go to the end Green started giving their best. As a result they took the lead from a freekick. This goal was scored by William Maco.
