“President's Cup Recreational Futsal" tournament is scheduled to kick start on Thursday, 5th October at 2100 hrs at Henveyru Stadium. Draw for the tournament was held last night. A total of 38 teams participated in the Men's tournament and a total of 7 teams participated in the womens' tournament.

The 38 men's team has been divided into 8 groups and the group winner and runner up team qualifying to a round of 16 to be played in knockout format. The women's 7 teams have been divided into two groups with top two teams from each group qualifying to a semi final. Women's final match would be played on 29th October while men's final match would be played on the 30th October 2017. All the matches of the tournament would be played in three pitches in Henveiru stadium.
