FAM has awarded the abandoned Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League match between Maziya SR and Club Green Streets to Maziya SR. In a media release FAM announced after reviewing the match commissioners report and the Referees Report, the tournament committee has decided to award the match to Maziya SR.
The match was abandoned in the 52nd minute after Green Street players refused to continue the match in protest to the substitute referee’s decision to show a second yellow card to Sobolo IIIia of Club Green Street. Maziya was leading the match 1-0 when the match was abandoned.

Maziya SR was awarded the match by a score line of 2-0 as per the article 11.6 and 11.7 of the Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League rules.
