Thinadhoo kick start their Ooredoo premier league campaign with a 1-0 win against Maalhos.  Despite having many top flight players Thinadhoo failed to put on a good display and Maalhos pushed forward in search of a goal and Angel Munoz nearly got one right at the death.

The only goal of the game came in the second half through Thinadhoo's Jose alejandro

Maalhos also had their chances to equalize but failed to do so. Angel Munoz most noticeably got a glorious chance right at the death but he wasted his shot went off the woodwork and out much to the disappointment of Maalhos fans.

Thinadhoo's Pecharroman Allain was the man of the match.
