SUS and Grande take point against TC and Green Streets
Super United Sports have held TC to a goal-less draw against TC Sports and claim a point. The draw means TC fail to move up the table and remain in fourth place with 28 points after 20 games while SUS are in seventh place with 15 points. In the final game of the match day Green Streets took on bottom of the league Da Grande and failed to bag home three points as the game ended 1-1.
TC and SUS struggled to create any real chances and the chances were few and far between. The game ended with a huge brawl following TC players disapproval of the match day Referee. TC midfielder Hussain Ahusam Moosa received a second yellow card and was given marching orders after the final whistle.
Green Streets were humbled by bottom of the league Da Grande resulting in Green Streets failing to move up the table. Green dragons remain in fifth place with 27 points. The first goal of the game came from Grande in the 17th minute when Argentine striker Hugo fired home.
However, Green Streets captain Rilwan Waheed struck home a sensational effort into the top corner to make It all square. Both sides had chances to take the lead in the game but failed to convert.
