TC Sports Club has moved to third in the Dhivehi Premier League with a win over Bottom of table Da Grande. Tc won the game by three goals to nil and register 23 points from 16 games. Valencia is in fourth with 22 points. TC drew first blood in the game in the first minute of the game thanks to a spectacular volley by Haisham Rasheed.

TC extended the lead before the end of the first half. Egyptian striker Omar Salah struck home in the 35th minute to give TC a 2-0 lead going into the break. TC wrapped up all three-point late in the second half. Ahmed Saamiu found the net in the 78th minute to finish the game off. 

After 16 games played in the league, Da grande is still winless and has just a point to their name. Grande is desperate for points however, their performances have not helped them from sitting bottom of the pile. Tonight second-place Club Eagles will try to close the gap on top of the league Maziya when they take on sixth-place United Victory.
