Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment announced that they have finished first phase of GN. Fuvahmulah city football ground.

Sports minister Mahloof said on Twitter that they have finished Fuvahmulah football ground phase1 and gave permission to council to complete other works.

After completing turf installment other works to be completed by the council includes setting a fence and installing lights. Minister also noted that he is hopeful to see these works complete in a near future.  

Minister Mahloof thanked Fuvahmulah City youth and parliament members and council for their support.  

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s government pledge to complete 100 turf grounds around the Maldives.

So far government had completed turf grounds in R. Innamaadhoo, R. Alifushi, Th. Vilufushi, F. Nilandhoo, N. Holhudhoo and N. Kendhikulhudhoo.
