Siuna and Faalil to Represent Maldives in AFC's e-Goal program

Maldives Under-19 National Team Midfielder Aishath Siuna and Maldives Under-16 National Team Midfielder Mohamed Faalil Faaiq has been selected to represent Maldives in ‘e-Goal’, The 1st AFC Youth Social Responsibility Ambassadors Program.


Football association of Maldives announced on 22 September, that Siuna and Faalil are selected for the program Organized by Aurora Training and Development, A Jordan-based youth development organization with AFC Dream Asia Foundation's support.  


After being selected for this program Siuna said that she is excited to be a part of this program to get more knowledge about football and to contribute to society. "I want help other people and unlock a better future, I also want to empower other young girls and create more opportunities by learning to become a better ambassador through this program" Siuna said. 




Faalil said "I am looking forward to learning many new things and I am sure that it would be a great experience to improve myself both on and off the pitch". He also said that the knowledge she gained from this program could be used positively and contribute to the local football community.” 


FAM said that it is a first of it’s kind in world football, in which AFC engages Youth elite player in development education.  This program will teach the young participants an understating of a commitment to Social Responsibility in Football across Asia.  


This program will be conducting via online platform Zoom covering 9 different topics. World-class professionals will be giving the information during the sessions.
