Maeesh of Eagles under 16, undergoes a Knee Surgery

Eagles Football Academy informed that their Under 16 player Ahmed Maeesh Mohamed had undergone a successful Knee Surgery.


The surgery was done at ADK hospital yesterday, where Maeesh received a treatment for his left knee. Eagles Academy has posted its well wishes to Maeesh on Social media yesterday.


“Whole Eagles Family Send the well wishes, Get well soon Maeesh” Eagles said in there official Facebook page. BoalhaMV wishes him a speedy recovery. 

In the recent past several other Football players were treated for Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL) injuries in the ADK Hospital. Players such as Eagles' Maldives International Hassan Haisham(Bidi) had undergone a knee surgery. Bidi had his surgery during April 2020. Maziya's Skipper Assadhullah Abdullah had undergone a surgery for a torn ACL during March 2020. Foakaidhoo Vice Captain, Maldives International Mohamed Jailam(Oggy) is also recovering from ACL surgery.

National Women's team Captain Fadhuwa Zahir also has had successful Knee surgery during March 2020. Rilwan Waheed(Riley) had ACL reconstruction surgery in October 2018.

Most of these Surgeries were done by well known Surgeon Dr Hussain Shakeel and his team which includes highly experienced medical professionals of ADK Hospital.
