Minister for Sports Ahmed Mahloof has joined the deliveries of groceries and has urged to Volunteers to join the relief effort. 

After Male' city was effected with the coronavirus outbreak and a lock down was imposed an overwhelming number of grocery delivery were put on hold and supermarkets were unable to deliver. 

Maldives national team and Maziya mid Ibrahim Waheed Hassan has also joined the relief effort and took supply of flour, Rice and sugar to those in need. 

As authorities scramble to deliver good many have come out to volunteer in the relief efforts. The Ministry of youth and sports has urged people to join the relief efforts.
