The thoughts of some members may not be understood by the public but for some players it has been difficult to stay away from their families for a long time."

The statement also stated that an official word from TC was delayed after the clubs twitter has not been accessed due to a technical issue and it took longer than expected to solve the issue.

TC were Male' bound after their maiden AFC cup group game in Bangladesh but soon after they arrived in Sri Lanka it was announced that the club would stay in Sri Lanka until the 14 day quarantine period was over and that they will stay in quarantine in Colombo.
