TC team return home after begin stranded in Colombo

TC Sports Club have returned back to Maldives from Sri Lanka and have been taken into quarantine. TC were Male' bound after their maiden AFC cup clash against Kings in Dhaka and had a transit in Colombo when Sri Lanka locdown the countries airports as a cautionary measure due to the coronavirus outbreak. 

TC will now have to go into isolation in the furuvari island resort where they will have to spend 14 before the players and coaching staff are allowed entry to Male'. The Maldivian government has imposed strict regulation to prevent the outbreak of coronavirus in Maldives. 

TC's 26 day stay in Sri Lanka was funded by the Maldivian government and the squad stayed at the Marino beach hotel in Colombo. Former President of TC Sport Ahmed Nasheed Dave thanked FA Maldives president Bassam Adeel Jaleel and Sports minister Ahemd Mahloof in a tweet. 

TC's return flight to Male' was a mercy flight organized by the national airline Maldivian to bring back stranded Maldivians in Colombo.
