The FA cup has been automatically suspended as TC Sports are in quarantine in Colombo. The FA has decided to meet with clubs tomorrow to take a decision regarding the situation. 

TC, Maziya, Da Grande and Eagles have all made it into the semifinal of the competition. The tournaments hold a strong sense of value for clubs and players as they have the chance to qualify for the AFC Cup. 

Maziya played away to Chennai in the AFC cup but have returned back home. TC have been quarantined as Maldives have banned all direct flights from Bangladesh and banned passenger from Bangladesh from entering the country. 

TC have their semi final clash against Eagles on Monday night while Maziya and Da Grande were to play each other in the early kick-off. 

A number of sporting events world wide and in Maldives has been cancelled. The Maldivian government has announced that 10 people have been tested positive for Corona virus while the worldwide cases have leaped the 100,000 mark with close to four thousand people dead.
