Europe's premier club competition cancelled

Europe's top club football competition the Champions league and secondary club competition the Europa league has been cancelled by the premier league due to the outbreak of Covid-19 across some major countries in the continent. 

Italy suffers from the worst case of the the corona virus and have all Seri A matches suspended. The English top flight has also been delayed until further notice. 

Rumors has also surfaced about a potential suspension of the 2020 to be held in 12 major cities in Europa. The Euro is the crown jewel of all competition organized by Europe's governing body UEFA.

The Champions league is heating up in the round of 16 as holders Liverpool have been knocked out while record 13 times champions Real Madrid are down as they go into the second leg. 

The final of this years competition is set to be held in Turkey. The newly renovated all seater UEFA four star Ataturk Olympics Stadium in Istanbul Basaksheir district. 

Meanwhile in the secondary competition the Europa league Manchester United and Inter Milan have been picked as the favorites by the bookies. The Europa league final is set to be held in the spectacular Baltic Arena in the Polish city of Gdansk.
