Ahmed Rizvan(Rizey) and second half substitute Zain Zafar star as Eagles routed Foakaidhoo 7-0 in the Dhivehi Premier League third round match this evening.

Rizey gave Eagles the lead in the 12th minute with trademark finish to the far post giving the goalkeeper no chance. In the 25th minute shockingly Rizey was allowed space to replicate his first goal making it 2-0.

Man of the match Rizey completed his hattick first minute of the second half after poor defending by Foakaidhoo. Ten minutes later Rizey scored his fourth. Debutant Zain Zafar scored from outside the box in a first time finish making it six. Zain scored the sixth goal twenty minutes from time. Eagles could have scored more, goalkeeper Hassan Toplak stopping Rizey, Zain, Ibrahim Imran(Immi) and Toshiki Okamoto. Okamoto scored the 7th goal seven minutes from time. Foakaidhoo did try to get the ball back with Mohamed Nasheed hitting the cross bar with a long range effort. Effort by Angel Carrescosa Munoz was saved by goalkeeper Sujan Perrera.

The poor performance leaves Foakaidhoo rooted to the bottom of the third round table while Eagles are on course for AFC Cup qualification cementing their place in the second place. Tonight third placed TC Sports play fifth placed Da Grande.
