Maziya beat TC Sports 4-1 to cement their top position in the Dhivehi Premier League clash tonight.

Both teams played well in the first half though Maziya took the lead seven minutes into the second half through Cornelius Stewart. Eight minutes later Asadulla Abdulla(Asako) opened his account after a mistake from TC's young goalkeeper. In-form 'false-nine' striker Ismail Easa got one back for TC Sports fifteen minutes from time. An equalizer was on the cards as TC Sports pushed forward coming close through Ibrahim Aisam and Ibrahim Atheeq. Asadulla however broke TC hearts tapping his second and extending Maziya's lead. Ibrahim Waheed Hassan(Ibbe) scored the fourth goal as Maziya inflict the first defeat for TC Sports' new boss Mohamed Shazly.
