Maziya Academy defeat Maldives Soccer Mates(MSM) 4-1 to win the Football Association Under-12 Youth League.

In the ten team league, Maziya won all nine games to win the league with a goal difference of forty goals and twenty seven points. TC Academy finished second with twenty four points with only one defeat to the Champions Maziya. Hulhumale Sports School(HSS) finished third, above BG Sports and Eagles finishing fourth and fifth places. Favorites Early Touch Academy finished in sixth place, just above MSN who finished in seventh place. Victory Sports Club Football Academy did better than their seniors finishing above HYS and bottom club MS Helping Hands.

Top Scorer Abdulla Rizan Mohamed was the tournament's star-man, scoring fourteen goals for the Champions. Maziya's coach Mohamed Areef(Arippe) was named 'The Best Coach'. Arippe was also awarded the best coach in the Under-14 Youth League earlier this year. 

"Even though I am awarded the best coach of the tournament, Ibrahim Shafiu deserves most of the credit. The Academy head coach is a very hands-on style coach who accepts nothing but excellence from his coaches." Best Coach Arippe said talking to BoalhaMV. The former Club Eagles player is started his coaching career with Maziya Academy winning the International Cup of Joy in Chennai, India earlier this year.
