Club Eagles Wishes Their Coaches In The B-Certificate Course
Club Eagles has wished their four coaches in the ongoing B-Certificate course.
"It is our belief that they will keep gaining the best experience from the future opportunities within the club and from other platforms. Keep going coaches" Posted Eagles on their senior team page and their Youth Development pages.
"Club Eagles always believes in youth, not only players, but in youth coaches also. A very significant proof is that currently there are four coaches who is working as coaching staffs in our clubs senior side while handling the youth teams also. These four coaches, Coach Kaka, Coach Amjad, Coach Nadheem, Coach Maate is currently in the AFC B Certificate Coaching Course. Club wishes them all the very best"
Among other participants in the on going B-Certificate course Ismail Asif who now works with Foakaidhoo FC is also a former Eagles coach. Hussain Habeeb worked in Eagles as a player-goalkeeper coach winning bronze medal in 2015 playing for the club when all senior goalkeeper suffered injuries. Gold Captain Assad Abdul Ghani, also a partcipant in the B-Certificate course ended his playing career in Club Eagles in 2015.
Eagles has given a special attention to developing youth players and coaches in since it's introduction in 1989. Ahmed Shakir(Shakittey) who works as the first assistant coach of the National team was the first assistant coach of Ihusaan Abdul Ghani(Saanthi) in a very successful term with Eagles in both senior and under 21 side. Shakittey won the Best Coach Award on three occasions with Eagles Under-21 team. Besides Shakittey, Maldives most decorated goalkeeper trainer, the national team goalkeeper coach Aslam Abdul Raheem also was a long term Eagles coach. Foakaidhoo Coach Ali Nisthar Mohamed also started club level coaching starting as the assistant to coach Ahmed Nimad and as the third assistant coach to coach Saanthi.
