Club Green Streets earn a well deserved win with a marvellous performance against TC football club. Hammering the reigning champions of Sheik Kamal club cup champions by 3 goals to 1. With this win Green Streets move to 3^rd in the STO Male’ league with 13 points.

Illia sobol scored the first of his two goals in the 3^rd minute of the game. Illia beat a defender inside the area before shooting. The shot took a deflection and ended in the back of the net.

Seconds before the end of the first half Illia sobol scored his second of the game to give Green Streets breathing space and put more pressure on TC. His shot from outside the area found the bottom corner of the net.

After an increased amount of pressure from TC, Green Streets defense finally broke apart and TC got one back. Ibrahim Mahudhee’s scored from a header after Ali Nafiu’s cross.

But despite getting one back TC never managed to get full control of the game and Green Streets looked composed.

Soon after in the 81^st minute winger Rizuhan fired a shot into the back from inside the area to put the game beyond TC’s reach.

After the match coach of Green Streets Sobah Mohamed said that his players worked according to his plan and worked extremely hard for 90 minutes.

“There is nothing special about our success. This is the player’s hard work. I’m very happy with the commitment level of my players” said Sobah.

TC coach Mohamed Nizam said “our defense was disorganize. this defeat was not because of the early goal. We got many chances but couldn’t convert much and we conceded an easy goal while pushing for an equalizer.”
