Maldives under 19 team makes history by advancing to the semi-finals of the SAFF Under 19 Championship.

Maldives and Bhutan shared points in today's Group A match. Both teams went forward looking for win again Maldives goalkeeper Hassan Aleef had a great day saving Maldives again. Poor pitch conditions making it difficult for both the teams.

Hosts Nepal, the two time defending champions lost their second game goes out from SAFF Under 18 tournament 2019. Maldives and Nepal drew the first game 1-1 with Hassan Nazeem Gassim scoring for Maldives.

Maldives will play the winner of Group B, India or Bangladesh. Sri Lanka will have a difficuilt time already losing their opening match 3-0 to Bangladesh. Bangladesh drew their second game against India, The match between India and Sri Lanka will determine the fourth Semi finalist of the SAFF Under 18 Championship.
