Maldives under-19 National team will travel to Naifaru in the morning to play against Naifaru under-23 squad.

The match is scheduled to be played today, 27th July in Naifaru Football grounds. Maldives Under-19 will be scouting for potential recruits to their impressive squad.

On 24th of July Maldives Under-19 played against Maziya. With an impressive display including a audacious goal by Foakaidhoo star Hassan Nazeem Gassim(Choatu), Maldives under-19 only lost 2-3 to one of the favorites of Dhivehi Premier League.

On 25th match between Premier league side Nilandhoo and Maldives under-19 back-up team was stopped five minutes from time after heated exchanges between players. The under-19 boys winning 1-0. The under-19 back-up team also only lost 1-0 to Foakaidhoo FC. Under-19 boys also beat Victory 3-2.

Led by Mohamed Shazly as coach, Maldives under-19 is set to compete in SAFF Championship and Asian Cup qualifiers later this year.
