Match 17: TC Sports Vs Maziya S&R

(Thursday 4th July at 16:00 hours)

Maziya step up a gear after drawing their last game against Foakaidhoo. Maziya are still the highest scoring team in the league scoring an impressive sixteen goals in three games. Maziya are also one of the best defences in the country conceding only once. TC on the other hand have conceded three goals in four games scoring nine goals. Maziya have too much fire power to not score in two games in a row. Maziya striker Cornelius Stewart who scored twenty eight goals last season is back and might start the game against TC tomorrow.

BoalhaMV Prediction: 2-1 Maziya | Key player: Ibrahim Mahudhee Hussain(Feydhoo Ibbe) of Maziya.

Match 18: Green Streets Vs Da Grande

(Thursday 4th July at 21:00 hours)

Da Grande has set the pace at the top of the league with a perfect record, winning against Nilandhoo, Foakaidhoo, Victory and United Victory. The Amigos are in excellent form and are to pile misery on Green Streets who are yet to win this season. The Green Dragons drew two of their last three games losing their first game against Maziya. Green Streets are expected to up their game after giving up a two goal lead in the dying minutes in their last game. Da Grande conceded only one goal so far, but the deadly Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) Abdullah Yameen(Yaan) partnership is the strongest strike force to test the Amigos defense so far this season.

BoalhaMV Prediction: 2-0 to Green Streets | Key player: Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) of Green Streets

Match 19: Foakaidhoo Vs Victory

(Friday 5th July at 16:00 hours)

Foakaidhoo will want to build up on their draw against favorites Maziya. Foakaidhoo has defied all odds so far conceding only three goals in three games. Foakaidhoo however has been poor in finishing this season. Word from the camp is their foreign striker Mostafa Seddik is fit again and raring to go and may play a part in the game. Victory conceded twelve goals in three games. Foakaidhoo should be too strong for the young Victory side.

BoalhaMV Prediction: 4-0 to Foakaidhoo | Key player: Ansar Ibrahim(Anko) of Foakaidhoo.

Match 17: Nilandhoo Vs United Victory

(Friday 5th July at 21:00 hours)

Nilandhoo has been by far the worst defense in the Premier League this season conceding twenty goals in three games. Nilandhoo has not been shy to keep playing open game even after conceding heavily. In their last game they showed some improvement scoring their only game of the season against a very organized Eagles defense. United Victory has been disappointing so far this season. Blame has been placed on their goalkeeper Hassan Tholal(Toplak) and striker Khiebasolav Dzmitry by United Victory. This is the best opportunity for UV to kick start their season putting the past behind them before the international break.

BoalhaMV Prediction: 2-0 to United Victory | Key player: Khiebasolav Dzmitry of United Victory

Next match will be played on the 8th night between Maziya and Eagles. After match-18 is the international break, Maldives will take on the likes of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean games. Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League will resume on the 3rd of August 2019.
