Nima Taking Over Club Eagles For The Next Three Games

Eagles first assistant coach, Ahmed Nimad(Nima) will be taking for for their next three games. 

Nima, long serving former player and coach will take over from Mohamed Shiyaz(Mohan) who is away for the next three games. Games starting with Green Streets tomorrow then to Nilandhoo and Maziya, Nima will lead with the instructions from Mohan, who is away on his Pro-Diploma Licence course.

According to Nima, Mohan has given a full schedule and is always in contact with Nima. Mohan replaced a very successful Ihusan Abdul Ghani(Saanthi), turning Eagles to a power house of Maldivian football. Saanthi left Club Eagles in 2012 and returned in 2013. In this time Nima led Club Eagles in the first round of the Premier League till Saanthi took over. Eagles finished the first round in an impressive fourth place. 

Talking to BoalhaMV, former Mecano coach Nima said that he is hopeful of a victory against Green Streets first before thinking of the other two games. "I believe Dhagandey(Ali Ashfaq) is still the best player in Maldives, he is in Green Streets and they have a lot of experience while we are a much younger side, but I am very confident" Nima told BoalhaMV.

"Though we are an a young side, I trust my players, I have every confidence that they can get the three points against Green Streets, we completely dominated TC and there is no reason why we cannot do same or even better" the experienced coach Nima said.
