Under-19 National team will start training tonight with former Green Streets under-21 team manager Ahmed Favvaaz Mohamed as manager.

20 year old Favvaaz becomes the youngest manager in a national football team in Maldives. Maldives under-19 team is expected to travel abroad and travel within Maldives  for friendly matches for heading to Asian Championship qualifying games.

Talking to BoalhaMV, Favvaaz said that he is very excited about the opportunity. "In my term, I want to team to have good results" said the young manager. 

Favvaaz was a part of a very successful Green Streets under-19 and under-21 teams in 2018 and 2019. While he was the manager at the Green Streets under-21 team this year, Favvaaz was Green Streets under-19 assistant manager, winning the Youth League in 2017.
