The technical director of the Volleyball Association of Maldives (VAM) Ibrahim Jaleel (Jalla) has resigned.

Talking to BoalhaMv Jalla said that there were no problems with the leadership, rather this was a choice he up took to give more time to the coaching of the sport. He said his aim is to spread the love of the sport while providing more chances to the youth and to help them improve their selves at the game, and he added that it was just not possible while being the technical director. 

Furthermore, Jalla added that from now on he will be seen coaching for different teams of different ages. Before, his services while helping the national women's team should be noted. 

Jalla has created alot of players from scratch, and his help has always been provided for the men's and women's national teams of Maldives. 

Currently he is coaching the U23 national women's team, for their upcoming U23 tournament at Vietnam.
