Today featured the last round of group stage games between the U-13 group B teams in the Mamen Inter School Football Tournament.

The late afternoon kickoff held Aminiyya against Jamaluddin. Aminiyya already confirmed a spot in the quarter meanwhile the blues were knocked out of the tournament. Both teams played high intensity football from the kick off going head to head on attack and countering the opposition. Six minutes from half time Aminiyya took the lead courtesy of Mohamed Anoof Ahmed. Another goal followed in the last minute of the half scored by Hussain Shaihan Ibrahim. Much to discuss for the blues heading into the dressing room.

Despite the blues half time team talks it was Aminiyya who started the second half dominantly and increased the lead four minutes in courtesy of Hussain Shaihan Ibrahim. The same player completed the hat-trick ten minutes later with a wonderful goal. The blues net was once again ripped apart a defensive gamble lead Minhal Ali Shareef to score an own goal five minutes from the full time whistle.

This match was followed by the match between the two teams of the group who are fighting for the second place, Muhyiddin and Lh.A.E.C (Lh. Hinnavaru). Both team had one win from their previous two games and the game started with a class of dominance by Lh.A.E.C as their player, Mohamed Isaam Moosa netted four minutes into the game. In the 21st minute their lead was doubled as Abdulla Misaal Mohamed scored.

The second half showcased an higher level of intensity football by both teams. However, there was no drama until the last tenth of the game. In the 54th minute, six minutes from full time Lh.A.E.C scored a goal in the form of Ahmed Alaan Adam. That was the goal which would take them cruising into the quarters knocking out Muhyiddin.

These results meant the Muhyiddin are now out of the competition along with the blues who lost all games. And Aminiyya sit on top with a 100% record. Lh.A.E.C follows close with six points into the quarters.
