In the Mamen Inter School Football Tournament, in under 15 age category, the tournament faces its quarter finals.

After final group stage rounds of actions one day ago, team have advanced into the next round. From four group, each group winners and runners-ups will be competing for the semifinal slot in the first knock-out round of the tournament, quarter finals.

From group A, group winner Ghaazee School and runner-up Thaajuddin School moves into the quarters. Ghaazee gained the quarter final spot after collecting straight three wins out of three group stage matches. And they are first team to get into the quarter. They started the campaign with a 3-1 win against Thaajuddin. The second followed against Huravee with the biggest score line of the tournament so far.  0 to 14. Their third win came against Jamaluddin by 1-5. Ghaazee is the most fierce side when it comes to attack the opponent goal. They are side to score most goals with total 22. They conceded only two.

Looking into another quarter finalist from group A is the runner-up of the group, Thaajuddin. The yellow sub marine side had a unfortunate start in the tournament as they lost the opening game to Ghaazee by 3-1. But they lifted them selves and stepped strongly into the tournament as they went on to win the next two games. A 2-0 promising win against Jamaluddin School and a 5-0 win against newbie Huravee School. Thaajuddin netted 8 times while was scored against 3 times.

In group B, Hiriya School enter the qauter finals as group toppers while Dharumavantha School as the second best team of the group. Hiriya, the purple boys started the tournament strongly beating Kalaafaanu School in the group opening match by 1-3. The next two games were the best for Hiriya in which they scored total 17 goals in both games total. 9-0 against atoll visiting side K.Gulhee School. And a comfortable 0-8 agaisnt Dharumavantha School. Hiriya shared one of the best two lowest goal conceding side along with Majeediyya School. Only one goal was scored against the purple boys.

Dharumavantha advanced to the quarters with a satisfying group stage performance. They won their first two games. A 3-0 agaisnt Gulhee side. And a 6-1 victory over Kalaafaanu School. Later in the final group stage match they lost to group topping Hiriya by 0-8. Dharumavantha scored 9 times in the group stage round and was scored against to the same number. 

In group C, Majeediyya School gets into the quarters as group leaders while Ameeniyya School follows the reds into the quarters as runner-up. Majeediyya, the reds completed the streak of three wins in the group stage round. First victory was against Muhyiddin School. A 5-1 one win. Second one came against Aminiyya. A 6-0. Third one was agaisnt Ahmadhiyya International School.  A struggling 2-0 win for the reds. Majeediyya is one of the best two lowest conceding side along with Hiriya. Reds conceded only once. They scored a dozen of goals in the group stage.

Coming to the group runner-up, Aminiya boys also started the campaign well with a satisfying 3-1 victory over Ahmadhiyya side. Later they went to loose horribly against their group toppers, Majeediyya by big 6-0. But they put themselves back on the right track of the tournament as the green boys went to collect their second three points from Muhyiddin side. It was a hard fought 2-3 won for the green boys. Though Aminiya has 3 goals deficit in the goal difference as they scored 6 times but they let opposing sided to do 9 times.

In the group D, Rehendhi School stamped their name on the quarter finals with an amazing group stage performance with a deserving group table 1st spot. They are followed by Imaduddin School as second team from the group. Rehendhi kicked off the tournament in style. A 3-1 win against Ghiyasuddin International School was followed with a 2-1 victory over Imaduddin. And their winning streak kept on as they eliminated the strong Iskandharu School from the tournament beating them by 3-2 score. Rehendhi scored 8 times while their opponent found Rehendhi goal to a half number for their goals, 4 times.

When it comes to group D runner-up , it was not decided until the last group stage match day. Imaduddin, the orange army side started their fight in the tournament with a promising win against Iskandharu with a late goal. Though they lost the second match to Rehendhi by 2-1, the orange army collect another win against Ghiyasuddin with a 1-0 and made their chances strong for the quarter finals. The orange army scored only 3 times and concede twice. 

Quarter final matches will begin on 13th Match.
